It just makes sense. I wanted a blog with no ads, and that would work more seamlessly with my website, and other blog. I haven't been feeling the vox love for quite some time. So check out my new blog, subscribe, bookmark or whatever and keep up to date with my developing business!
But I will leave you with this picture. Taken with my film SLR.
This past weekend when I thought (incorrectly) that I had a reprieve from being sick, I took my kids to a local beach/ scuba diver's paradise/marine park for a walk. It was also an opportunity to practice using my new D200. I am finding it tricky remembering all the nifty new features that my D50 was lacking! Also focussing has been a bit of a problem due to all of the different focussing points as you can tell by a few of these. But I think I am getting the hang of it. Here are a few of my favourites. Most were shot on my Tamron 70-300mm, but some were also shot with my 24-80mm.
I was privileged to do a fun and fast photoshoot with this great family. The boys are so cute, nothing like two little red headed boys!
I am going to use this blog for my photography as I get through school, build my portfolio and begin working. I decided to stick with Vox for now as it is versatile, public friendly, I can link it with my flickr site, and I already had it set up anyway. No more crafting on here, since it is no longer my focus!
I am excited to be on this journey. Welcome along for the ride!
